Nice to meet you!

Well hello!

Today was my first day, for the second time, as a teacher at ESH! In 2003 I worked at ESH as a teacher and activities coordinator. I had such a wonderful time meeting students from around the world (some I still write to!) and working with the friendly staff that it seems like fate to come back.

After leaving ESH I moved to Ottawa (a great city you must see!) to complete my B.A in Primary Education. After this, I decided I wanted to travel, so I moved to Korea to teach English in Seoul. Being on this side of the world gave me the opportunity to visit Thailand, Cambodia and China (I’ll get to Japan next time) which added to the already fantastic experience of living in Asia. Unfortunately, I didn’t learn much of the language, but I did develop a serious love for Kimchi! Anytime you want to grab some Korean food – count me in!

This summer, I’m thrilled to be the new intermediate teacher in classroom #5 – and the only blond on staff (this way you can’t confuse me!). I look forward to meeting all of you and to learn about your culture, you’re language and your life!  So, don’t be shy, approach me anytime!

Bye for now
