I'm Jong-Mi, Kwon. Sometimes I call myself Jay, as Korean names appear very hard for other people to remember.
I work for ESH school, taking care of general administration.
People often wonder what my backgroud is like. Well, I could levae it as a mystery, BUT I won't!!
I'm not really Korean or Japanese.... I'm somewhere between... as we (Koreans living in Japan) developped its own culture)
I was born and brought up as a Korean in Japan. I went to Korean educational institutions in Japan from kindergrden to high school. I always hang around with " KOREAN " freinds who are just like me. After high-school I enetered a Japanese university , which was the first Japanese school I went to in my life. My university was Waseda University and my major was English Linguistics in Education Dpartment.
This university was so cool or all my friends are. They were very stimulating, innovative and knew how to SURVIVE from academic worki in a SMART way.
Anyhow, this is my brief background and as a result of this mixed education I can speak at least two languages; Japanese and Korean. English is my third language and Spanish?? I manage to speak with my head 100% fully functioning ^ ^;
Now, I'm settled in Toronto as an immigrant. Very Happy ^0^ /
Aside from my personal background, I love DANCING ( let me know if you have any information on dance), movies, cooking and travelling.
that's it for now, as I have to leave for my road test soon.
