Well, I'm back teaching English again. I had taken a year off, after teaching in Tainan, Taiwan for 3 years from 2001-2004, and I'm happy to be back at it. My students are fantastic: funny, clever and open.
I've recently picked up a cold; haven't had one in ages! Seems like something's going around though, so it had to happen at some point.
I do a lot of thinking- probably too much, and reading the paper makes my thoughts all negative. What's wrong with people, I wonder? Why are we so violent? Why is the government so corrupt? Why does no one take seriously, or talk about, the threat we pose to ourselves and the earth we live on?
I bring my thoughts back to beauty by thinking about my 10 month old nephew whom I adore: Derek.
Cheers, all.
