Natural disasters are the one of the most unpredictable and deadly tragedies in the world. Every year many people are killed by them even with taking all the necessary measures in order to protect their lives. All of these: tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and so on can be monitored but, one day , they could seem controllable and harmless ,yet they can become destructive . Nowadays , they have stuck in stronger way and with more frecuency than in ancient times due to the fact that our technological development is more advanced than it was before. This means that , this progress has not made mankind realize about a responsible consumption of our planet's resources and now , earth is reacting towards our careless attitude.
Hurricane Katrina is one of the most evident proof of this reaction. Millions of dollars were and are still being spent on the reconstruction of its terribble devastating consequences. Many people were left homeless and without some of their family members who were taken away from them by this storm.
Global warming, is one of the causes of it , and our pollution constant producing and resources wasting has tremendously contributed to this fact that is making our planet to work over its capacity. Nonetheless, all of these could have been avoided in a reponsible way by consuming only what is necessary for our daily survival and by learning how to live with this taking the necessary measures of precaution and safety, which in many countries is the principal reason of thousands of deaths during a natural disaster.
Our planet is running out of resources. In less than 50 years, water supplies won't be enough for the world to survive and many other vital resources that are necessary for our living in less than that. To conclude, it is time to realize about our the rightful use we give to everything we have and by laerning how to deal with this tragedies, that are inevitable to happen ,but possible to overcome with less losses, in order to give our, and the future generations a better life and future.
